Laura and Julius Photoshoot in Dubai.

I don’t usually travel thousands of miles to do a pre wedding photoshoot, (but then this wasn’t strictly pre wedding as Laura and Julius are already married) and I happened to be in Dubai for a few days, so we met up for a photoshoot which turned into an epic.

Laura and Julius were recently married in Dubai and will be having a wedding blessing at Hedingham Castle in the spring. If you think planning a wedding is difficult, you want to try doing it from thousands of miles away with the added complication that Laura is Australian and her family are coming over to the UK for the wedding blessing. It was by luck therefore that I was in Dubai for a few days and was therefore able to meet up and discuss their plans in detail as well as do the all important photoshoot.

I was amazed at Laura and Julius’s stamina for photographs as a pre wed normally only takes a couple of hours, but with so many photo opportunities available, we spent the whole afternoon driving round getting some great pictures. Despite the fact that Dubai is a massive city, it was difficult to find some space on our own to get some relaxed images. But hopefully you will agree that we got some good stuff. Vicky and Gavin are getting married at Double tree by Hilton, Cambridge!

Crikey it was cold today!  Probably not the best weather to do a pre wedding photoshoot, but with their wedding only a couple of months away, Vicky and Gavin came over to Linton to do their shoot this afternoon.

They are getting married in February at The Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Cambridge and will probably be the first of the new year weddings for me, so naturally I am looking forward to it.

With the cold weather today, I had to warm up the light a bit with a warm gel filter over the flash and work fairly quickly. I would have liked to have done more, but we were all getting a bit too cold. It doesn’t show though…well, not much..

Christine and Craig are Getting Married!

Christine and Craig are getting married in the spring and so we took advantage of the recent mild weather and did their pre wedding photoshoot here in Linton at the weekend.

They will be getting married at the beautiful St Mary’s Church in Saffron Walden and having their reception at Sturmer Hall, which is a venue I have yet to photograph at, so I am really looking forward to it.

Below is a selection of images from the shoot. If you would like to add comments or messages to Christine and Craig, please click on the Add Comment tab at the bottom…….

Lovely. I especially like the B&W pictures. Christine & Craig look good together and I look forward to seeing the wedding pics.

Sonia and Ross’ Album – Chilford Hall.

Sonia and Ross ordered a Jorgensen 12×12 inch wedding album from their wedding day at Chilford Hall near the village of Linton in Cambridgeshire. The Jorgensen albums are hand made in Australia and are the Rolls Royce of wedding albums. Sonia and Ross decided to go with the classic print and mount type of album and I have to say it looked stunning when it arrived…….
