Following on from the sneak peak at the wedding photography of Christine & Craig’s wedding at Sturmer Hall and St Mary’s Church, here is the full blog post.
Sturmer Hall is one of our nearest wedding venues, situated just a few miles from our home in Linton. The hall is just outside Haverhill in Suffolk and was a delightful venue for Christine and Craig to use as their wedding reception after they had their ceremony in the impressive St Mary’s Church in Saffron Walden. We started the day by photographing the boys at the gates of Audley End Manor before heading over to Christine’s parents house to photograph her getting ready. Then it was a dash to the church for the service, but due to restrictions on photography in the church we were unable to record the actual ceremony. No problem though – we simply restaged it afterwards, so many thanks to Reverend Anne Howson for staying behind to help us with that.
After the formals it was over to Sturmer Hall for the reception and more photo opportunities in and around the house. The weather stayed dry, but chilly, so drinks on the lawn was not an option which was a real shame. That said, we still managed to get some group shots on the steps before anyone got too cold. Many thanks to all the guests for your cooperation.
Here is a selection of images from the day. I will upload all the pictures to the online gallery soon. In the meantime, if you would like to add comments, either use the Add Comment tab or if you are a facebook user, just fill in the facebook comment box. I am sure Christine and Craig would love to read a few as they enjoy their honeymoon in Mauritius…..
